As most Ford Focus ST owners probably already know wheel hop is a big problem with this platform and most other FWD cars. Wheel hop is caused by engine deflection and can really waste power that is transferred to the wheels. Our Steeda Focus ST Stage 3 Handling Package was put together to help to eliminate engine deflection.

This Steeda Focus ST Stage 3 Handling Package will allow you increase traction drastically by keeping the wheels planted on acceleration. This package comes complete with our Steeda Focus ST Rear Engine Mount, Steeda Focus ST Passenger Side Engine Mount, and our Steeda Focus ST Driver Side Transmission Mount.

Our Steeda Focus ST Rear Engine Mount and Steeda Focus ST Passenger Side Engine Mount were designed to help improve traction on launching by eliminating any engine deflection. Each of these engine mounts comes with different durometer bushings so you are able to switch them out based off your application. These engine mounts will increase NVH with the softer durometer bushing, by switching out to a higher durometer you will experience even better traction, but also increase in NVH. The black urethane bushings are intended for race use only, because of the NVH increase.

Our Steeda Focus ST Driver Side Transmission Mount was also designed to help control engine deflection in Ford's Focus ST. The mount will also increase NVH, and is recommended for hardcore enthusiasts. Our transmission mount provides a solid link to the transmission and engine allowing for maximum performance to be experienced especially during hard launches.
